Liquid and semisolid formulations

《Liquid formulations》

▲Introduction/characteristics

By applying the dispersion technology, drugs are prepared to solution or suspension dosage forms for oral or topical administration. They are easy to have the dosage adjustment.
Using the special coating technology to reach the requirement of drug stability.

1.Oral suspension: This is an oral liquid dosage form which is made by adding taste masking agents, bacteriostats, and excipients into the drug and mixed according to the processing technology of solutions.
2.Topical solution dosage forms: This is a liquid dosage form by mixing with excipients into one or multiple types of drugs.

《Semisolid formulations》

▲Introduction/characteristics

Drugs are prepared as a high rheologic dosage form by mixing with materials by dissolving or melting.
Gels are formed by the water-soluble drugs and polymer materials. This dosage form assists in the administration of topical mucous drug absorption.

1.Ointment and cream dosage forms: They are drugs prepared by mixing with the appropriate bases. They are semisolid external dosage forms with a certain viscosity. Common bases can be divided into oleaginous, water-soluble and emulsion bases, and the easy rub cream is made by the emulsion base.
2.Gels: They are jelly-like external dosage forms and prepared with water-soluble polymer solutions.

《Nano-dispersed formulations》

▲Introduction/characteristics

By adding appropriate dispersants and dispersing insoluble drugs with the Nano-Mill, drugs can be turned into the nanosuspension that further elevate drug dissolution rate and increase drug bio-availability.

1.Solid Nano-dispersed dosage forms of highly hydrophobic drugs
2.Nano-suspension
