- The 6th Board of Directors and Supervisors (8th Meeting) approved the purchase of factory facilities.
- Signed strategic alliance agreements with PharmaNet and Aihol (USA) for regulatory technology, new drug development, and marketing cooperation.
- Granted exclusive global licensing of antidepressant drug PDC-1421 to Lite-On Advanced Biomedical Inc.
- Approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as a certification body for the MIT Smile Mark Quality Verification System for veterinary pharmaceutical products.
2010
- Signed exclusive global licensing agreement for cough-relief herbal drug PDC-748 with the R&D alliance.
- Signed R&D cooperation agreement with Taipei Medical University.
- Obtained TIPS (Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System) certification.
2009
- Assisted partner pharmaceutical company in obtaining Taiwan’s first marketing authorization for an orally disintegrating antihistamine tablet.
- Received the “Value-Added Contribution Award for Traditional Industries” under a government technology program with AITI alliance partners.
2008
- Assisted partner pharmaceutical company in obtaining marketing authorization for an antidepressant orally disintegrating tablet.
2007
- Herbal cough-relief new drug “PDC-748” received the 2007 National Innovation Award.
2006
- Signed an international cooperation MOU with POLYMEREX MEDICAL CORP. (USA) for OEM cardiac catheter medical devices.
- Facilitated the establishment of Taiwan Han-Yao Technology Co., Ltd.
- Facilitated the formation of the “PDC-748 Herbal Drug R&D Alliance,” which won the 2006 Taipei Biotech Award – Gold Medal for Technology Transfer.
2005
- The preclinical R&D platform for herbal medicines “PharmTECprint” obtained Taiwan trademark registration.
- Launch of the bilingual (Chinese/English) “Taiwan Herbal Medicine Network.”
2004
- Completed the establishment of the medicinal materials exhibition and specimen rooms.
- Renamed as “Pharmaceutical Industry Technology and Development Center (PITDC).”
- Established the medicinal materials database and launched the “e-Drug Materials Network.”
- “PharmTECprint” obtained European Union trademark registration.
